STORY

The hand-made bag your mother made when you were in elementary school for Gym class was special for you, wasn't it?
The secret base you made with your friends was full of your dreams, wasn't it?
The meal someone makes for you tastes "warmer" than ready-made meals on the shelf of convinience stores, isn't it?

How about clothes? Who and what philosophy makes the clothes you are wearing now?
What kind of story is there?

This time, we tell you what kind of person is engaged in manufacturing before our products are delivered to you.

FARM

Blue Beach Farm is in British Falkland Islands, which is located in the Pacific Ocean in Southwest Patagonia area.
Hew Griersson is the owner of this farm.
Because no factories exist in the Falkland Islands, there is littele environmental pollution.
While the population is only 3,000, about 500,000 sheep live there.
This island looks as if it were paradise for them.
Though the climate sometimes gets severe with snow, hail and wind, it also contributes to protect wool from harmful vacterias, prevent pigmentation, and decrease the possibility of the deseases of sheep by rufifacies.
Wool grown under this special environment is purely white and its fibers are long and soft.
This wool, which is kind to people, sheep and the environment, is grown there.

YARN

Raw materials of wool cross over the sea to be made into thread at Jaya Shree company located in jaya, India.
The manager, Mr. Swastick Chatterjee, gathers materials from all over the world, listens closely to requests of clients and develops original high-quality thread.
When selecting raw materials, he directly visits farmers around the world and see how they produce them.
Learning from them, we use raw materials confirmed by our own eyes and give "wow" to people with our product's developing skill.

FABRIC

Thread also cross over the sea and turns into fabric in Oshu district of Aichi prefecture in Japan, which is known as the place where high-quality wool is produced.
Tsunekawa factory since 1927 posesses Air Jet Loom rare in Japan today.
The owner, Tsunekawa, expresses nuance of a variety of fabric with responding to requests of their clients.
Building good relationship with spinning manufacturers, we develop new high-quality fabrics with them.
Fabric that Tsunekawa factory weaves is not just woven fabric, but the new craftmanship of Japan.

WASHING

Fabric is piled on a truck and the final finishing is done at the Sotoh company also in Oshu district in Aichi prefecture, the world's leading woolen production area.
Though not only weaving factories but also dyeing plants and processing plants existed there, only a few of them remain today.
Mr. Muramatsu, who engages in this job for more than 20 years, continues to make high-quality Japanese fabric with the prossesing knowledge from previous generation over 100 years.

SEWING

The finished fabric moves to the northeast.
Our partner company that sews fabric to make a product is Original Technology Aomori.
Original Technology, founded in 1976, is a garment factory that combines technology with the handicraft which is the starting point of manufacturing.
Advancing sewing management by computer control and using state-of-the-art aircraft to increase production efficiency, we do not lose the craftmanship mind.
Mr. Nakamura is in charge of the final finishing press at the factory.
A long journey of "MONOZUKURI" is completed there.

LOGISTICS

The finished products are piled on a truck and go south to Chiba prefecture.
Daiwa GF Logistics plays a role to inspect finished goods and ship them safely to the destination.
Mr. Sakai examines those items accurately without omission, manages workers and plans work schedule of the day so that products can be delivered smoothly.
Although this process is not directly connected to making products, it plays an indispensable role for our "MONOZUKURI".

TO YOUR CLOSET

Finally, products arrive at your closet.
In terms of food, to track the information of their producers and products is getting easy recently.
It is natural to pay attention to those information because they directly enter our body, however, many actually do not care about clothes.
Just wearing clothes you like changes the feeling of the day. We believe that clothes have such a power.
Clothes are the outermost side of the person's inner face, and they make it possible to express how you engage yourself with the world and how you live.
To know who makes products with what feeling...
We believe that saying "thanks" to them in your heart is a key to the answer when you pass its sleeve of your suit every morning.
See your closet. Who made the items in it?
